Meet Tara

I’m a mom who loves slow mornings with my coffee, finds herself in the pages of a good book, and returns again and again to the grounding rhythm of yoga. My children are at the heart of everything I do, and I’ve intentionally created a home rooted in connection, calm, and presence.

I’m a certified childbirth educator, yoga instructor, birth and postpartum doula, and Reiki practitioner specializing in Reiki for labour and birth. My work is deeply intuitive, meeting you where you are, and supporting you in finding your own sense of trust and flow.

I’ve walked through perinatal anxiety and birth trauma myself. Those experiences are part of me, and they’ve shaped the way I hold space, the way I listen, the way I support.

Why I Became A Doula

I know what it’s like to feel afraid and disconnected during birth. My own experience was highly medicalized, and fear pulled me away from my intuition, my body, my baby, and my husband.

Now, my purpose is clear: to bring safety, calm, and connection back into birth for women who are stressed, scared, or healing from past trauma.

Why I Became A Yoga Instructor

I originally took yoga teacher training during a season of life when I needed something just for me. As a stay-at-home mom raising children with special needs, yoga became a space where I could breathe, reconnect, and come back to myself. I never intended to teach—it was simply something my heart was calling for.

But as life often does, the path unfolded naturally. A friend asked if I would teach, and I began with just three people in my basement.

What I discovered surprised me. When I started teaching, I found myself intuitively creating classes that met people exactly where they were. I could feel what the room needed and guide students in a way that helped them experience real shifts—both on and off the mat.

Today, my classes are practical, supportive, and focused on helping people feel progress in their own bodies. Strength. Ability. Confidence.

Because when people feel what yoga can do for them, they begin to trust themselves—and that’s where the real magic begins. ✨
