How did I find my way into the birth work world?


My birth experiences were less than desirable, hospitalized, and traumatic which impacted myself, my babies, and my whole family as a result.

My mission is to prevent this impact on other women and their babies.

I remember feeling prepared after attending prenatal yoga and childbirth classes but I was not! All the things I learned went out the window shortly after my labour started because I was scared and I had no idea how to stay calm with this new experience!

I didn't realize how alone I would feel even with my husband by my side. My stress during late pregnancy and labour affected my mental health and my baby.

After much frustration as a childbirth educator seeing women suffer from an array of birth traumas, I created an online program for women who were unsure how to prepare mentally and physically for labour. My signature program, The Confident Birth Method, has helped women in Canada and the United States birth their babies calmly and confidently.

I will attend your birth as your Doula AND I will help you prepare and support you during pregnancy so that you go into labour, birth and motherhood with peace, calm, confidence, and success!
