MOVE DIFFERENTLY

Boost your confidence, energy, and strength with my approach to yoga that focuses on real-life movements on the mat so you can live life more fully off the mat.

These classes are for people who want to move differently, be more confident, prevent injury, age with flexibility and strength, and learn the true capability of their body and mind.

I take the time to break down poses so they’re easy to understand and accessible for every body, while still giving you the right amount of challenge so you feel your strength, balance, and confidence grow with each class.

My goal is to help you enjoy your practice, find what works for you, and carry the benefits of yoga off the mat and into your daily life.

Starting (or returning to) yoga can feel intimidating, and I design my classes with that in mind, giving you options to challenge yourself or take it slowly.

What to Bring:

a yoga mat, a blanket or towel, and your water.

What to Wear:

Comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.

Wearing layers is best!

Class location:

The Bullpen Sports Complex at 655 Conception Bay Highway.

Frequently asked questions

We do have plus size people attending now as well as people of different abilities. I always offer the wall for support and explain that nothing is mandatory, so sometimes you will see people take a seat or stand up and shake out their legs. It’s very relaxed and open to make it safe for you to do what works for your body. I talk about that throughout the class. If you want to try a drop-in first and see if you like it that’s an option too!

Yes, we do! Some classes fill up so drop-in closes for those. You can check the website each week, and if there is a spot, it will let you register for the class.

Yes, absolutely! Just give The Bullpen a call first to make sure there is space on the day you decide to come! Bring a yoga mat, towel or blanket and your water. Hope to see you there!

We have seniors in all the classes - there is a variety of ages, body shapes and sizes, and abilities in all the classes.
